A career at Hitachi Rail will help create a legacy.With operations in every corner of the world, our work goes to the cutting-edge of digital transformation and technology.From the multi-cultural strength of our global organisation to the sustainable and innovative ways we work to bring people together, there's something for everyone to get stuck into.And that's where you come in.Job DescriptionHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Procurement Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.The position is based in Naples – IT.Brief Task DescriptionLead one or several procurement projects and/or procurement bids.Accountable for end-to-end procurement strategy of a project or bid.Drive project procurement strategy involving category managers, buyers and other procurement players from participating units.Identify and establish saving targets for work packages while managing risk and opportunities.Address one or several categories through the end-to-end procurement process.Lead the procurement team in the bid phase, consolidate procurement costs and identify risk and opportunities.Missions and ResponsibilitiesOwn the relationship with internal stakeholders and drive procurement project strategy.Conduct opportunity analysis, spend and risk management.Work closely with project management to align procurement deliverables with business needs.Prepare and follow up on the procurement plan.Ensure full utilisation of Hitachi e-Acquisition and all procurement tools.Perform make-or-buy analysis with the team.Execute end-to-end procurement process for the category when requested.Work Experience RequirementsBusiness school or engineering degree.Business procurement, supply chain or engineering accreditation desirable.At least 5 years of procurement experience (category and/or projects).Extensive experience in procurement strategy mandatory.Experience with contracts and contract negotiation desirable.Project management experience nice to have.Experience working in a matrix organisation desirable.Ability to implement and report on procurement strategy, risk and opportunities.Knowledge of procurement-specific tools (TCO, Nego planner, risk & opportunity).Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.Can-do attitude and sense of ownership.Persuasion and influencing skills.Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to prioritise tasks.Strong analytical skills.Personal CompetenciesGood verbal communication skills.LanguagesItalian and English.Key SkillsContracts & Procurement, Inventory Management.Employment TypeFull-time.We welcome and value differences in background, age, gender, sexuality, family status, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion and world view.It is our commitment to create an inclusive environment – we are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.#LI-DC1Location: Naples, Campania, ItalyJob ID: R*******Date Posted: (date not provided)Company Name: Hitachi Rail S.p.A.Profession (Job Category): OtherJob Schedule: Full timeRemote: No#J-*****-Ljbffr
