Job Title: Senior Designer – Office Fit-Out (Architectural Background)Location: Milan, ItalyEmployment Type: Permanent or Project-BasedOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Designer with a strong architectural background to play a key role in the delivery of a high-quality office fit-out project in Milan.This is a client-facing position requiring a technically competent designer who is comfortable operating between concept design, detailed technical delivery and on-site coordination.The successful candidate will act as a key interface between the client, consultants and construction teams, ensuring design intent is maintained while supporting buildability, programme and quality objectives on site.Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the design development of a commercial office fit-out project from concept through to construction and handover.- Act as a primary design interface with the client, managing presentations, design reviews and approvals.- Translate architectural design intent into detailed technical drawings and specifications suitable for construction.- Work closely with site teams, contractors and specialist subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues during construction.- Review shop drawings, material submittals and mock-ups to ensure compliance with design intent and technical standards.- Attend site meetings and inspections, providing ongoing design support and problem-solving.- Coordinate with MEP, structural and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.- Support programme delivery while maintaining high design and quality standards.Candidate Profile- Architectural background with significant experience in office or commercial fit-out projects.- Proven experience in a senior designer or project architect role within a client-facing environment.- Strong technical design experience with direct involvement on site during construction phases.- Excellent understanding of construction detailing, materials and buildability for high-quality office interiors.- Confident communicator capable of managing client expectations and multidisciplinary coordination.- Fluency in Italian is essential; professional working English is highly desirable.- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent).What's on Offer- Senior-level role on a prestigious office fit-out project in Milan.- High level of client exposure and design responsibility.- Opportunity to work closely with site and delivery teams on technically challenging interiors.- Competitive salary and benefits aligned with seniority and experience.#J-*****-Ljbffr
