Supply Network planning is a key role in the IBP process, as the Supply Network plan delivery enables operations to meet the tactical and strategic horizon production requirements in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The Supply Network Planner provides essential information for the IBP cycle, ensuring that the Supply Network is properly planned to meet the needs of internal and external customers. The role typically involves a tactical planning horizon of 1 to 15 months, with a quarterly or semi-annual strategic plan covering 36 months, both in monthly buckets. As this process and role are new to the organization, it offers an exciting challenge for the incumbent to educate others on the benefits of Supply Planning. The incumbent must be comfortable managing conflicts and change at various organizational levels, supported by the Supply Chain Manager, BU/Opco Operations Director/Manager, and Global IBP Team. The level of the role depends on scope and complexity, including the number of manufacturing plants and product portfolio size & complexity. The Supply Network Planner works closely with the Production & Material Planner.Depending on organizational size, these roles may be combined, merging responsibilities of Supply Network, Production, and Material Planning.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESSupply Network Planning: Prepare an accurate supply network plan for specific product groups based on 1-15 months, aiming to meet demand effectively, considering capacity, raw materials, and formulation optimization.Develop strategic (36 months) plans to identify potential constraints, create scenarios to optimize supply considering costs and customer service, and establish deadlines for key contributors.Prepare content for monthly supply reviews, including scenarios to minimize supply-demand gaps, and monitor progress through regular contact with planning teams and supply points.Serve as the first contact for commercial teams on planning horizons.Inventory & Working Capital Management: Define and implement inventory targets, manage inventory levels according to guidelines, and coordinate replenishments, aging, obsolete stock, and waste management across the network.Monitoring & Analysis: Maintain planning master data and systems, analyze trends, identify sales risks/opportunities, coordinate constraining and allocation activities, and monitor KPIs to identify improvement areas.Collaborate with supply and commercial teams to prioritize actions and prevent stockouts and waste.Continuous Improvement & Projects: Propose process improvements, lead or participate in projects to enhance planning reliability, and develop collaborative planning with key customer teams.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORSDelivery On Time In Full (OTIF)Forecast Accuracy RMR/RMNCapacity utilizationProduct portfolio metricsIBP Maturity levelInventory levels and working capitalRaw material stock-outsWaste costsSchedule conformanceOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEDegree in supply chain, operations, economics, engineering, or similar, with 3-5 years relevant experienceExperience in forecasting and S&OP, preferably in animal feed or FMCG industriesCross-functional collaboration experienceProficiency in ERP tools, MS Excel; knowledge of Infor M3 and DMP is desirableStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of manufacturing challenges and performance leverageNumerical and analytical skillsInquisitive mindset for risk and opportunity identificationEnglish proficiency, additional languages a plusCOMPETENCIESRelationship building and cross-cultural awarenessEffective communication and persuasion skillsAdaptability in communication stylesHands-on mentalityAnalytical and numerical aptitude#J-*****-Ljbffr
