As anInfrastructure Engineerwith aLinuxorientation, you will be the backbone of our internal systems, focusing on open-source and automation-driven environments.You will take ownership of Linux server infrastructure, automation frameworks, and modern virtualisation and networking solutions, while collaborating with our Managed Service Provider for hybrid and cloud environments.Challenges we trust you withAdminister and maintain multi-site Linux server environments (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)Manage core network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS, Samba) in a Linux context.Oversee user and identity management using LDAP or compatible solutions.2. Automation & Infrastructure as CodeDesign, implement, and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible.Manage infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle with Terraform.Develop and maintain documentation for automated processes.Deploy, manage, and optimise virtual environments using Proxmox VE.Implement and maintain secure networking solutions with Tailscale.Monitor and ensure high availability and performance of virtualised workloads.Collaborate on hybrid cloud deployments, integrating Linux systems with public cloud providers as needed.Support the transition and interoperability between on-premise and cloud environments.5.
