About us:Viceversais an innovative fintech company supported by international investors that aims to become the financial and operational partner for the next generation of digital businesses.Viceversa built a powerful growth platform that boosts businesses at the pace they want with equity-free investments and data-driven insights.We provide flexible growth capital from €10K to €5M for digital businesses within three days and growth analytics that allow companies to collect, visualize, and analyze all data in one place to make better business decisions.Viceversa envisions a new way of growth based on transparency and technology to support companies in a sustainable and ethical way.We are on a journey to revamp the European fintech landscape.Are you with us?Main responsibilities:Learn and contribute to the development and improvement of our forecasting models for financial and business performance analysis.Assist in designing and implementing Generative AI (GenAI) solutions, focusing on AI agents that enhance our decision-making processes.Support the optimization and evaluation of our machine learning models, ensuring accuracy and reliability.Work with large datasets, extracting insights to enhance our predictive analytics and risk assessment capabilities.Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to ensure efficient data pipelines and ETL processes for AI/ML applications.Engage with the Tech and Product teams to integrate AI-powered solutions into our platform.Work closely with the Portfolio Team to translate business needs into actionable AI solutions.Who we are looking for:Academic background inData Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Some experience (academic or professional) in working withforecasting models, ML, and AI.Curious and strong analytical mindset, with the ability to tackle complex problems.Passion forGenerative AI and AI agents, and eager to explore their application in fintech.A great team player with strong collaboration skills.Required Skills:Proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc.).Knowledge of time series forecasting models (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTMs, etc.).Familiarity with Generative AI techniques and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face models).Strong understanding of SQL and ability to work with structured data.Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based AI solutions.Nice to Have:Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI).Experience with financial data analysis or previous exposure to fintech.Hands-on experience with LangChain, AI agents, or AutoGen frameworks.Location:This position is for ourMilan HQ.Terms and conditions:Salary range based on experience.Our HQ is in Milan, Italy, and we currently meet in the officethree times per week.What we offer:Hybrid work policyAn innovative, dynamic, young and friendly work environment (forget your suit and tie)Monthly meeting with the Founders to be all updated on company progressInternational work-environment (right now, we have more than 10 nationalities)Ticket restaurant when you are working from the officeTeam building events every quarterYou will find a place where you can express your ideas and put them into actionViceversa is an equal opportunity employer.We value diversity at our company and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
