DescriptionAs a Global Commissioning Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) - Jenbacher Gas Engines, you will be dispatched worldwide to support our Jenbacher gas engine installations.Your responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, scheduled maintenance, and other service activities.This role requires *****% international travel and a solid technical understanding of electrical grid systems, VDE measurements, PLC systems, P&I schemes, synchron-generators, and PID-controllers.Have you ever considered taking on a long-term overseas assignment?With us, you'll have the opportunity-whether it's spending a few months in the United States or supporting projects in other regions worldwide.What we offerCompetitive salaryAdditional benefits:meal allowance, daily travel allowanceCompany phone and laptopService vehicle providedSupport for certifications & professional growthResponsibilitiesCommissioning, repair, and maintenance of Jenbacher gas and biogas enginesin Italy and abroadTroubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, PID-controllers, and grid-related interfacesPerforming and interpreting VDE measurementsProviding technical support to partners and customersReviewing and utilizing P&I schemes during on-site activitiesOn-site supervision of subcontractor workDocumentation of all completed service activitiesRequirementsSecondary school / vocational qualification (e.g. automotive mechanic, auto electrician, agricultural machinery mechanic, or mechanical fitter)Experience with gas engines, or strong willingness to quickly acquire the required knowledgeTechnical understanding inat least some of the following areas:electrical grid systemsVDE measurementPLC systemsP&I schemessynchron-generatorsPID-controllersProficiency in English and ItalianAbility to work independentlyWillingness to travel both domestically and internationallyValid category B driving licenceFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, plus willingness to learn and develop further if requiredAdvantagesKnowledge of gas engine maintenanceExperience in troubleshooting and diagnosticsElectrical qualification#J-*****-Ljbffr
