My client is looking to recruit a new Design Centre Director in Q1 - in the city of Bergamo, located less than an hour from Milan.The company is well funded, rapidly growing, and has ambitious plans for **** and beyond.The position will be responsible for building and growing a complex team of Semiconductor professionals - focussing on the development of new cutting edge integrated material chips.The ideal applicant will have previous experience managing multi-functional teams - across digital design, analog design, mixed-signal, verification, applications engineering, physical design etc.Plus ideally have knowledge of more than silicon IP/chip development.Applicants need to have a confident background in an R& D function.Previous experience with new / advanced process technologies would be preferred:Silicon-Photonics, PICs, photonics, Quantum, Optical, Ga N, Si Ge, Fin FET etc.Locals / Italian (AND English bilingual) speakers will have an advantage, but as this will be an international effort, so non-Italian speakers / fluent English only speakers will also be considered.Visa sponsorship and relocation is available for the right person.
