globally.The Role's Key Responsibilities and TasksAs an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers.As aFrontend Software Engineerin the Travel Things Team, you will be in charge of:Build future-forward applications with a modern tech stack at its core.Our foundation includes JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, a design framework based on styled-components, and GraphQL.We ensure code reliability through testing with Jest and React Testing Library, and use tools like Rspack, npm, Babel, Docker, and more.Work with a distributed, scalable micro-services environment, with daily deployments, high-quality clean code, SOLID principles, and TDD.Be part of a high performing cross-functional team of 7-10 developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists, and others focused on the customer.Develop powerful and advanced algorithms that are at the forefront of travel tech.Code with high quality through good design, attention to detail and test quality, and challenge decisions to improve technical excellence.Actively participate in product definition and ideation processes.Work in a fully agile organisation using Kanban practices to deliver business value continually.Continue learning and participating in workshops, hackathons and other events as a core IT activity.Own and monitor the performance of product and technical OKRs.Having a technical mindsetMicroservices platform and modular frontend.Powerful monitoring using DataDog, BigQuery and Grafana.Version-control systems like Git and Bitbucket.Storybook using a design system built with Emotion and Styled System.Clean code and adherence to SOLID principles and TDD.What you need to succeedGood to haveA strong command of JavaScript and at least 3+ years of professional experience in building scalable applications, with demonstrable hands-on experience in ReactJS.Knowledge of TypeScript is a valuable asset.Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms).Ability to work in an environment that promotes microservices, clean code, SOLID principles and TDD.Ability to code with high quality through good design, attention to detail and test quality.Knowledge of Cloud and Continuous Delivery environments to deliver value quickly.Strong data-driven capabilities and design pattern skills to address business challenges.Participation in product definition, identifying improvements, challenging decisions constructively, and providing creative solutions focused on outcomes.Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.Team player with good communication and mentoring skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Applied AI Tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants).Experimentation mindset and eagerness to explore and integrate AI-driven solutions.AI-enhanced problem solving to debug code and enhance productivity.Adaptability and learning agility to quickly adapt to new AI features.Collaboration with AI as a pair programmer to complement traditional development practices.What's in
