IntroductionAmazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join AWS Infrastructure Services, responsible for design, delivery, and operation of global infrastructure. Key Responsibilities- Move and implement large enterprise equipment.- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.- Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.- Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.- Safely use material handling tools and equipment. Physical Requirements- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; group lifts for 41+ pounds.- Work in an environment that operates 24/7; participate in primary responder rotation and after-hours support as needed.- Work in cramped, elevated, noisy environments.- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation. Travel and Work LocationSupport a new data center in various stages of development and construction.
