Join to apply for thePersonal Financial Counselor, PFC, Vicenzarole atMagellan Federal.This position provides personal financial counseling services at military installations, including one-on-one counseling, briefings, and referral resources.ResponsibilitiesProvide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and families.Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.Develop and provide financial informational materials to service members/families.Coordinate, promote, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.Utilize virtual counseling or electronic communications (web, secure chat, video) as authorized.Manage duty-to-warn situations according to DoD protocol.Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision, sharing trends and issues.Participate in in-services/training, quality improvement committees, or other contract activities.Perform any additional duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree required; associate degree plus 4 years experience or high school diploma plus 6 years experience may be considered.3+ years of financial counseling experience.U.S. citizenship and fluent English.Bilingual in English and Spanish if required.Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.Pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.Possess one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).General Job InformationTitle:Personal Financial Counselor, PFC, VicenzaGrade:23Work Experience – Required:Financial CounselingSalary Range:$53,125 – $84,995Benefits and CompensationCompetitive salary, short-term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and voluntary benefits.Magellan Health, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Tobacco-free workplace.EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled.Every employee must understand, comply with, and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their position; and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Magellan Federal by 2×.#J-*****-Ljbffr
