OverviewAccounting & Consolidation Specialist, Italyrole atIONION is a community of visionary innovators dedicated to providing pioneering software and consultancy services to financial institutions, trading firms, central banks, governments, and corporations worldwide.We streamline financial processes through workflow automation and real-time data intelligence with over 13,000 employees in 60+ offices and 4,800+ clients.Your roleAs part of the Finance team in Cedacri, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and contribute to the financial consolidation process.Key duties and responsibilitiesManage the financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements.Support the general ledger by recording, classifying, and reconciling financial transactions.Prepare and present periodic financial reports that accurately reflect the company's financial position and operational results.Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improving business performance.Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulations.Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ERP systems and accounting processes.Collaborate with other departments in the budgeting and forecasting process.Other dutiesAdditional tasks may be assigned as the role evolves.Skills, experience, and qualifications requiredMaster's degree in Finance (with honors).3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably with Big 4 or international companies.Excellent knowledge of Italian and English.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.Financial modeling, reporting, performance measurement, and big-data analysis.Experience with SAP modules is a plus.Knowledge of software for preparing consolidated financial statements is a plus.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, support, and track multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.Availability to travel to the company location in Emilia-Romagna on a weekly basis.BenefitsCompetitive compensation, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment.Location & EmploymentAccording to the Italian Law (L.*****), candidates from the disability list will be given priority.Seniority level:AssociateEmployment type:Full-timeJob function:Finance and Accounting / AuditingIndustries:Financial Services and IT Services and IT ConsultingOtherReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at ION by 2×.Get notified about new Accounting Specialist jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
