Job Description SummaryAre you ready to take your project management career to the next level?Join us at GE Vernova as a Grid Automation South Europe Project Manager and be a key player in delivering impactful projects across our region.In this role, you will oversee financial and operational aspects, including budget management, technical and contractual scopes, resource planning, and execution.Your responsibilities will also encompass safety, quality, risk, and opportunity management to ensure the highest customer satisfaction and secure project contribution margins.If you are a proactive, high-energy individual with a passion for operational challenges and a desire to make a significant impact, we want to hear from youApply now and be part of a dynamic team driving innovation and excellence in Grid Automation across South Europe.Job DescriptionGrid Automation South Europe PM is responsible for delivering projects in our specific region, following financial and operational aspects : budget, technical & contractual scopes, resources & execution planning.She / he is also responsible for safety, quality, risks & opportunities management to ensure the highest customer satisfaction & to secure projects Contribution Margin.Main PM tasks includeExecute projects keeping high standards in efficiency, on time delivery and financial goals as per PMH rulesContribute to units' operational performance by providing accurate forecasts in finance Key Performance Indicators : Sales, Cash & MarginBusiness scope : portfolio of active projects (including Protection Relays, Monitoring & Diagnosis and Systems & Services) running in parallel.Major ResponsibilitiesManage project execution (from tender to warranty end, including delivery & commissioning activities).Be the prime customer contact for the execution of the contract / project.Execute Projects in collaboration with Project Engineering departments (CCS, DCS, Service), Order Management, Contract management, Finance, Procurement & other support functions.Be accountable for On Time Delivery, Sales and cash-in realization (& accurate forecasting), project Operating Working Capital, Margins improvement & Customer satisfaction.Follow project management best practices (as per Project Management Handbook and specific Product line instructions), including specific focus on transfer review, project gates reviews, project closing phase.Monthly update on actions plan progress & Sales / cash forecasts.Preparation and presentation of project reviews.Contribute to Operation department development & South Europe region continuous improvement.Lead EHS / Safety actions and performance : be fully compliant with GE rules and processes, ensure project teams (own and subcontracted) are properly trained and holders of required qualifications when required.Lead to EHS monitoring actions, perform HSV.Follow GE compliance Policies ('The Spirit and The Letter') and promote open reporting.Support Commercial team by return of experience, optimizing project costs & deliveries.Qualifications / RequirementsElectronics / Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.Engineering and Business knowledge, with possible experience in Automation activities.Relevant experience in project management.Knowledge of Electricity Transmission, Distribution & Industrial markets with financial notions.Capability to manage & motivate a project team.Autonomy & Rigor.Fully fluent in English and Italian.Other languages valued (French, Spanish and / or Portuguese).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus and ability to cooperate with the different departments.Willingness to travel around 30%Desired CharacteristicsPrevious work experience in multi-cultural environmentProven Leadership under project structureStrong business acumen, execution driven, process appliance, PM metrics, teamworkExpertise required in : engineering, project control, reportingHigh energy, positive individual loving operational challengesAbility to organize, prioritize and achieve milestones and deliverables.High interpersonal skills.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-*****-Ljbffr
