We are currently looking for passionate and knowledgeable freelance tour guides to join our growing team.As aFreelance Tour Guidefor City Wonders, you will lead engaging, in-depth tours around Rome, showcasing its rich history, art, and architecture to an international audience. This is an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in one of the world's most culturally and historically significant cities. You will lead small groups through Rome's renowned monuments, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, and more, providing a personalized and memorable experience.What will you be responsible in City Wonders?Lead guided tours of Rome's major attractions, including the Colosseum, Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica, Borghese Gallery, and others.Deliver informative, accurate, and engaging commentary about Rome's history, art, architecture, and culture.Provide a warm and professional atmosphere, ensuring all guests feel comfortable and valued.Offer practical tips and recommendations for visitors to enhance their stay in Rome.Manage any emergencies or issues with professionalism and calm.Maintain a professional appearance and approach in line with City Wonders' high standards.Have you got the City Wonders skills and fit?You have acquired (or you are going to complete the procedure to acquire) an Italian valid tour guide certification.You got the Vatican Museums Pass for **** - this is a significant advantage.You have a proven experience as a tour guide, preferably in Rome or other culturally rich destinations.You possess an extensive knowledge of Roman history, art, architecture, and culture.You have excellent communication skills in English - proficiency in additional languages (such as Spanish, French, Italian) is a plus.You are capable of engaging and entertaining diverse groups of people, ensuring an interactive and educational experience.You are professional, personable, and punctual, with excellent customer service skills.You are flexible and available to work on weekends, public holidays, and during peak tourist seasons.What can City Wonders provide its guides with?Competitive pay per tour, based on the length of the tour.Incentives according to the number of tours guided and performance bonuses.Workshops and dedicated trainings.Flexible working hours with the option to take on more tours during peak seasons.Opportunities to follow guided tours in other iconic European destinations as part of the City Wonders network.How to apply:If you're a passionate and knowledgeable tour guide with a love for sharing the rich history of Rome, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume, detailing relevant info about your license, your experience, and any language skills.
