Stevanato Groupis one of the world's largest providers of integrated containment and delivery solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry.To strengthen our growth, we are looking for a high-potential, people-oriented Simulation Engineer to support us on our path toward developing advanced technology solutions in the pharmaceutical domain.In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to understand and simulate physical phenomena for strategic R&D projects.You will be responsible for implementing mathematical models involving multi-physical systems and materials and validating them using experimental data.The role is based in Piombino Dese (Padova), where our HQs is located.Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesResearch and develop and implement mathematical models to describe complex multi-physical phenomenaValidate models with experimental data, collaborating with laboratory teams, analyse results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusionsCollaborate closely with external partners and joint laboratories on model-based activitiesConduct fundamental or applied research to improve products, components, or applications.Proactively define problems and translate industrial needs into mathematical models with a scientific yet pragmatic approachStay updated on latest simulation technologies and modelling techniquesQualificationsM.Sc.or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Energy, Chemical, Material or Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.Preferably 2-3 years of work experienceDeep knowledge of solid mechanics: numerical methods, particularly the implicit / explicit Finite Element Method (FEM) – Material modelling (at least basic constitutive models in continuum mechanics).Good knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD): e.g., experience in develop and implement CFD and thermal simulation modelsExperience with LS-Dyna software is a plusGood knowledge of industry leading simulation software such as Ansys tools, in particular Mechanical and Fluent, is a plusStrong programming skills in MATLAB or Python is a plusQuality-oriented, conscientious, creative and cooperative.Strong communication skills and fluency in English is a must#J-*****-Ljbffr
