Apply now## Control Room SpecialistTrieste, Via degli Alti Forni SNCHHLA PLT Italy S.r.l.Transport/Logistics/Container Handling**Position**:The Control Room Specialist follows the operations of container ships, ro-ro, rail (from gate in to gate out) by overseeing operational areas such as vessel, train, yard planning and management, berth and train window, etc.**Purpose of the job**:* Vessel / train scheduling management* Yard management (movement planning, allocation, inventory)* Transmitting operational instructions to operational departments* Coordination between ship / train operations and the yard* Timely communication and coordination between the yard, gate and external third parties (e.g., Port Authority, agencies, ships, pilots)* Managing external traffic flows for ro-ro* Managing correspondence with external parties (agencies, customs, etc.)* Managing documents (ro-ro, container, trains)* Managing disembarkation / embarkation lists, ship and train lists, unit blocking or release notices* Managing requests for ancillary services (e.g., customs visits, VGM)* Data processing for correct customer invoicing**Requirements**:* Previous experience in vessel / train / yard planning (preferred)* Previous experience in shipping agencies and / or in port sector (preferred)* Fluent written and oral English (other languages are a plus)* Good Excel knowledge* Wilingness to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends) and flexible hours* Ability to work under pressure* Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously* Ability to work in a team* Driving license (B)HHLA PLT Italy is part of HHLA Group, with over ***** employees worldwide.Success means different things to different people.Therefore, we try to make it possible for each employee working for us to be successful in their own way and develop professionally in accordance with our corporate goals.If you would like to shape the future of HHLA PLT Italy together with us, we look forward to receiving your application - preferably online using our application form.#J-*****-Ljbffr
