Are you interested in the wind energy sector?We are looking forOperational Support Expertto join our Blades Process Engineering team at the Vestas factory in Taranto.These roles will support two key manufacturing areas: Handling & Logistics and Finish & Paint.These positions are ideal for engineers with around 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement environment, who are ready to grow their careers in a global renewable energy company.ResponsibilitiesAs anOperational Support Expert, you will work directly with the factory teams to support, analyze, and improve production processes.You will help solve day-to-day operational issues, implement improvements, and ensure that processes run efficiently and safely.You'll be part of a team that directly supports production, working alongside experts in tooling, training, quality, and engineering to continuously improve our factory performance in the areas of: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.Support and improve processes in either Handling & Logistics or Finish & Paint areas.Analyze current operations and identify areas for improvement.Create and maintain plans for implementing improvements.Support the implementation of changes through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) – formal documents used to manage updates to processes.Participate in or lead small improvement projects.Act as a point of contact for urgent production issues, helping to solve them quickly and effectively.Use structured problem-solving tools, including: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.Work closely with cross-functional teams and spend time on the factory floor to understand and resolve real issues.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.Around 2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production support, or process improvement.Basic knowledge of Lean tools and structured problem-solving (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).Experience in continuous improvement activities.English language skills for daily communication in an international team.CompetenciesTechnical and methodological thinking.Motivated approach to solving problems.Good communication and cooperation skills.Organized on tasks.Motivated to learn and develop in a busy production environment.Willing to work directly on the factory floor to understand challenges.What We OfferAttractive salary + bonus.The opportunity to work in one of Vestas' key blade manufacturing sites.Development within a global company focused on sustainability and innovation.A supportive, multicultural team environment with a focus on continuous improvement.Location:Vestas Blades Factory – Taranto, Italy.Candidates must live in Taranto or must relocate in this city.#J-*****-Ljbffr
