OverviewInterdisciplinary Sys Engineer, GES NA Ops Engineering – Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLCAmazon is developing the next generation of world-class fulfillment systems.The role requires a custom solutions–oriented Interdisciplinary System Engineer with hardware engineering experience in the integrated automation project life cycle, including custom product development, design, implementation, enhancement, and support.The successful candidate will work with engineers, scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance physical distribution systems, hardware, controls, and software.The role involves leading complex cross-functional projects, designing hardware (including sensors and edge compute devices) for an IIoT platform, and integrating systems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency.The candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.This role may require travel and collaboration in a corporate office when not traveling.Travel: Up to 30% of time across North America;
