WHO WE ARE Leaf Space is a rapidly growingscale-up companyand aleading provider of ground segment as-a-service (GSaaS) solutions .Our innovative and proprietary concept is focused on providing satellite and launch vehicle connectivity as-a-service, enabling clients to efficiently manage their assets and fully exploit data.Our GSaaS solutions have been recognized by the market for their efficiency, security, and effectiveness in supporting different applications, from remote sensing to IoT communications.LIFE AT LEAF SPACEAt Leaf Space, we operate with a flat organizational structure, we are growing in economic and people aspects, we are working in a professional and autonomous manner in fast paced environment.We prioritize hiring top talent and cultivating a collaborative, high-achieving, and supportive workplace.Our core team is headquartered in Lomazzo (Como), Italy, and we have expanded our presence in the U.S. with headquarters based in Northern Virginia.As we continue to develop innovative technologies to support the NewSpace economy, we are looking for world-class talent ready to tackle challenging projects to drive expansion and sustainability of the space ecosystem.WHAT WE OFFERLeaf Space offers comprehensive benefits, and flexible remote work options to support our employees in achieving their goals.CYBER SECURITY MANAGERThe Cyber Security Manager Safeguards Leaf Space's corporate and product infrastructures against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with international standards and embedding security practices across company operations.Leaf Space's ground segment infrastructure serves as essential, mission-critical infrastructure for both commercial space operations and defense missions at national, European, and international levels.This criticality demands a cybersecurity leader who combines exceptional technical depth with the trustworthiness and professional rigor essential for protecting sensitive operations.RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor threats and respond to security incidents across corporate and product environments.Identify and remediate vulnerabilities.Define and implementcyber securityarchitecture, policies, and processes.Conduct secure code reviews and enforce secure development practices.Delivercyberawareness and training for all employees.Perform regular risk assessments and collaborate with external auditors.Support clients and stakeholders with certifications, due diligence, and security requirements.Drive the achievement of sector certifications (NIS2, NIST-*******, ISO *****, etc.) and to the design/optimization of company-wide security processes.QUALIFICATIONS AND STUDIESDegree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent.Certifications:CISSP, CISM, CEHor equivalent.REQUIRTech skills3–5 years of experience in cyber security roles.Strong hands-on experience in incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability management, crisis management.Solid knowledge of international standards (ISO *****, NIS2, GDPR, NIST).Knowledge of Italian cybersecurity directives is considered a plus.Soft skills (language)Analytical mindset, autonomy, and problem-solving approach.Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian at B2 level is a strong advantage.EMPLOYER ELIGIBILITYReports to: CPOJob Location: LomazzoExpected Start Date: Mid DecemberJob Type: Full-timeStrategic visibility asguardianof compliance and client trust.Strong influence on company-wide decisions and international project security.#J-*****-Ljbffr
