Who we are Prysmian is a global cabling solutions provider leading the energy transition and digital transformation.Your contribution to Prysmian's SuccessInside our HQ Purchasing team we are looking for a Global Senior Buyer – Raw Materials.In this role you will:Negotiate with key suppliers defining the appropriate conditions for maximizing value creation for the Group.Lead and support commodity-related initiatives at regional and local level in cooperation with relevant internal stakeholders (GCL, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, Quality, etc.).Ensure design and execution of sourcing strategies and events in cooperation and alignment with appointed Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams and other key internal stakeholders.Govern the supplier base and supplier performance, including service-level quality, risk and compliance monitoring, ensuring appropriate supplier selection, qualification development and overall supplier management practices are in place.Acquire a deep knowledge of raw-material market dynamics and material applications within Prysmian.Lead market-trend analysis for commodities/geographies in scope and develop insights for business stakeholders, including support to purchasing teams at global and local level in budgeting, forecasting and price-evolution analysis.Lead the relationship with R&D to govern key qualification programs and innovation initiatives, including Design-To-Cost programs.QualificationsFluent in English and Italian.Up to 8 years professional experience as a commodity buyer within multinational companies with a matrix organization.A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.Knowledge of plastics, metals or chemicals and related contracts.Proficient in data analytics.Strong negotiation skills.Excellent relationship building at all levels of the organization and ability to work in multi-functional and international teams.Able to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Decision-making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong teamwork skills, results-oriented and ambitious mindset.Availability to travel.What we offer youPermanent contract.Hybrid working model (8 days per month).Health insurance.Company support on public transportation.Annual bonus and share-base plans.Dynamic and respectful workplace.Our selection process1) Application2) HR interview3) Hiring Manager interviews4) Online assessment.Equal Opportunity EmployerPrysmian is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and provide a work environment that respects and values all employees and applicants.#J-*****-Ljbffr
