Job Description We are looking for an Automation Engineer willing to join our Automation Downstream Team to develop the most performing automation model, taking into consideration contract requirement but also to standardize the functions developed.You will carry on the following activities:Identify contractual requirements in order to develop the optimization system (L2) software.Participate and contribute to technical meetings with customer both during proposal and during project execution.Follow up suppliers during project execution.Plan and participate to the optimization system (L2) test phase ''in house'' as well as to commission the system on site.Constantly research new methods to enhance performances of the optimization system (L2).Develop and implement automation (Level 2) for process lines, furnaces and rolling mills.Implement new industry 4.0-facing capabilities in industrial automation.Collaborate with other Level 2 team members and stakeholders.Remain updated to latest IT technical solutions.Required profileA Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics or Automation Engineering;Experience in the role in companies in the steel sector or in highly complex industrial automation plants is preferred;Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE and GIT for code management;Knowledge of C#, Javascript and Database SQL Server/Oracle;Knowledge of Python is a plus;Knowledge of Networking;English, both written and spoken is necessary;Willingness to worldwide travel;Proactivity, flexibility, good communication, interpersonal and team working skills.WorkplaceGenova#J-*****-Ljbffr
