Banca Generali( ), a leading italian financial group offering private banking services through a best-in-class network of financial advisors, is looking for a candidate to be placed in theEconomic Planning and Control team("Pianificazione e Controllo Economico") in its Milan office.Permanent contract is offered.TheEconomic Planning & Control Serviceis the Bank's central hub for economic planning, performance monitoring and management reporting.In close coordination with other Departments, it:(i) develops simulations for the Strategic Plan and Group Budget;(ii) monitors the Bank's and Group's economic and profitability trends;(iii) prepares periodic pre closing estimates and year end projections, managing the end to end forecasting process;(iv) ensures continuous performance monitoring and tracks quarterly progress against the Strategic Plan's macro objectives;(v) oversees the economic results of Banca Generali's subsidiaries;(vi) evaluates the profitability of the product offering and contributes to pricing decisions; and(vii) coordinates and reviews periodic presentations for the Assicurazioni Generali Group and external stakeholders (e.g., Investor Presentation).As part of our dynamic team, the successful candidate will undertake responsibilities such as:Variance analysis between actuals and forecasts (budget/forecast/plan), identifying drivers, root causes and economic impactsPreparation of management reporting and KPIs to monitor economic performance (periodic and ad hoc), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and usabilityCollaboration in drafting budgets and periodic forecasts, supporting the definition of economic assumptions and data collection from involved functionsSupport in the development of strategic and industrial plans, translating strategic guidelines into consistent and measurable economic-financial targetsGathering and analyzing information needed for planning, interfacing with different corporate functions and promoting an integrated view of the businessContinuous improvement of planning & control processes and tools (workflows, models, data quality), promoting the adoption of digital/BI solutionsOptimization of internal control and planning processes, also through digitalization and integration of advanced tools (Power BI, databases, simulation models)Assessment of the economic and balance-sheet impact of new projects and commercial initiatives, preparing business cases and sensitivity analysesRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management Engineering or related fieldsAt least 3-5 years in Planning & Control / FP&A, consulting or auditing roles; experience in the banking/financial sector is a plus; demonstrable experience in the ongoing management and maintenance of enterprise planning models is preferredAbility to build and maintain economic-financial models and run sensitivity/scenario analysesExcellent command of Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)Familiarity with databases/SQL is a plusFamiliarity with the main bank P&L and balance sheet schemesGood/advanced English, written and spokenStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detailProactivity, intellectual curiosity and continuous-improvement mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player with a collaborative approachEffective prioritization and deadline managementCompany ProfileGenerali is proud to be an inclusive employer that considers applicants regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion, political views, marital status or philosophy of life.If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation or assistance, we will support you during the selection process.#J-*****-Ljbffr
