Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a detail orientated Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) to preferably be based in Milan, with an option also in our Verona office, to support our EMEA operations.JUWI Groupinvites candidates who are innovative team players passionate about sustainability to apply.OverviewAs the successful candidate, you will manage all procurement/purchasing activities for PV projects in Italy, covering both project and strategic purchasing.You will coordinate and monitor all procurement-related activities, including logistics and post-sales, within the project team.ResponsibilitiesEnsure cost-quality optimized goods and services are purchased for our projects within suitable terms for delivery, payments, and quality, meeting project timescales and milestones.Seek, identify and engage appropriate suppliers for project-related goods and services.Lead negotiation of contract terms and pricing with internal and external stakeholders; manage and monitor compliance of delivery against contracts, enforce claims to suppliers in case of deviations.Support claim management and related post-sales activities.Clarify market conditions relating to local content, imports, exports, credit limits, credit protection framework.Monitor and report political conditions affecting the renewables industry in the EMEA region.Carry out and support supplier qualification based on existing processes, focusing on local suppliers/subcontractors.Establish and maintain long-term relationships with local suppliers and subcontractors.Create and maintain standard and/or framework agreements with local suppliers/subcontractors.Support development and implementation of purchasing strategy for local projects, aligned with EMEA and global purchasing strategy.Collaborate with the JUWI HQ purchasing organization to utilize global supplier frameworks.Qualifications5+ years experience in international procurement and supply chain management.2 years experience in the solar EPC market for photovoltaic utility scale projects in Italy.In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing international contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.Skilled negotiator with ability to foster solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Highly organized and detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel to project sites from time to time.DesirableExperience as a quantity surveyor, ideally in the renewable energy sector.Full professional proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken).Knowledge of German is an asset.Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent knowledge of MS Office.BenefitsCompany culture: a space for creativity and innovation.International teams: collaboration across the JUWI group fosters professional growth in a diverse environment.Structured environment: benefits from well-thought-out processes within our ISO ****:**** certified matrix organization.Professional development: access to a wide range of opportunities for career advancement.Smart working: flexibility to work from home to support work-life balance.Health insurance: private health insurance plan covering you and your family.Performance-based bonus: reflects the region's performance.Meal ticket: daily meal ticket for each workday.Company valuesWe are a pioneer in renewable energy, committed to climate protection, community and economic progress.Our motto "Power of Our Unity.
