Business Analyst I, Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) Capability TeamAre you Customer obsessed, eager to create opportunities and influence business decisions to improve the customer experience across our different Amazon businesses?Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) Capability Team is looking for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to join our Global Capability team based in Bangalore.As a Business Analyst (BA), you will contribute to critical global services that measure Amazon's end-to-end Customer Experience.The BA will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and an ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, competitive pressures, and operational initiatives.You will partner closely with program and technology teams to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers.You must be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and have the ability to break complex problems down into steps that drive programs.Key job responsibilitiesDesign and develop highly available dashboards and metrics using SQL, QuickSuite and Excel.Perform data analysis and visualization using Python.Have an eye for automation opportunities and deliver them.Understand the requirements of stakeholders and map them with the data sources/data warehouse.Own the delivery and backup of periodic metrics, dashboards to the leadership team.Draw inferences and conclusions, and create dashboards and visualizations of processed data, identify trends, anomalies.Execute high priority (i.e. cross functional, high impact) projects to improve operations performance.Perform business analysis and data queries using appropriate tools.Work closely with internal stakeholders such as business teams, engineering teams, and partner teams and align them with respect to your focus area.Basic QualificationsExperience with SQL or ETL.1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience.Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.Preferred QualificationsExperience using very large datasets.Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby).Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages.Strong Analytical skills – has ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusion relevant to the business problem.Communication skills – Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple plain stories.Ability to present information professionally & concisely with supporting data.Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and demonstrated track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects with evolving requirements.Scripting languages such as Python experience to automate tasks and solve problem.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Posted:January 30, **** (Updated 1 day ago)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
