Direct message the job poster from IMI Process AutomationJoin a global leaderinpetrochemical valveandactuation systems— now drivinginnovationingreen hydrogen.IMI Remosa, a long-establishedleaderin thepetrochemical sectorand part ofIMI Group, specializes in thedesignandmanufacturingofvalves,actuators, andhydraulic control systemsforrefineryandpetrochemical plants.As part of our strategicexpansion, we are now developing andindustrializing electrolyzer technologiesforgreen hydrogen production.The position is based at ourengineeringandmanufacturingsite inUta (Cagliari, Sardinia).Role OverviewTheProject Managerwill be responsible for leadingcomplex engineering projectsfromproposaltodelivery, ensuringtechnical alignment,budgetandschedule control, and smoothcoordinationamonginternalandexternal stakeholders.The ideal candidate has experience inindustrialorplant-related environmentsand excels incross-functional leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full project lifecycle:planning,execution,monitoring, andclosure.Lead multidisciplinary teams(engineering, procurement, production, quality, service).Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.Ensure project deliverables comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.Coordinatewith clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on technical and project matters.Oversee documentation, reporting, and communication channels.Identify and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions when needed.Support commissioning and start-up activities of electrolysis systems (international travel may be required).Ensure adherence to HSE, company procedures, and international standards.Technical RequirementsDegree in Engineering(Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields).5+ years of experiencein project management within industrial plants, EPC environments, or complex engineered systems.Strong understanding of engineering processes, preferably in petrochemical, energy, or hydrogen technologies.Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Ability to read technical documents: P&ID, datasheets, specifications.Fluency in English(written and spoken).Soft SkillsStrong leadership and team coordination capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.High sense of ownership, quality, and safety.Nice to HaveExperience in EPC or highly engineered products.Knowledge of ATEX, IEC/ISO standards, and industrial safety frameworks.Prior experience with hydrogen, electrolysis, or energy transition projects.What We OfferThe opportunity to lead high-impact projects in the hydrogen and electrolysis sector.A key role in a dynamic and innovative environment within a solid global group.Continuous professional development and exposure to international stakeholders.Work location in Sardinia, with cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing facilities.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Project ManagementIndustries: Energy Technology, Services for Renewable Energy, and Automation Machinery Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
