Founded in ****, InvenSense Inc., a TDK Group Company, is the world's leading provider of MEMS sensor platforms.InvenSense's vision of Sensing EverythingTM targets the consumer electronics and industrial markets with integrated Motion and Sound solutions.Our solutions combine MEMS (micro electrical mechanical systems) sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, compasses, and microphones with proprietary algorithms and firmware that intelligently process, synthesize, and calibrate the output of sensors, maximizing performance and accuracy.InvenSense's motion tracking, audio and location platforms, and services can be found in many of the world's largest and most iconic brands including smartphones, tablets, wearables, drones, gaming devices, internet of things, automotive products, and remote controls for smart TVs.InvenSense is headquartered in San Jose, CA and has offices in Boston, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, France, Canada, Slovakia, and Italy.We're looking for top-notch Engineers to join our global team.If you're interested in being a part of our journey and helping us grow to become the leading provider of SoC platform solutions, we want to hear from you.MEMS Design Engineer is responsible for new MEMS devices from sensor architecture to mass production.This position involves mechanical modeling, design, hands-on characterization, and debugging of new devices.The successful candidate is detail oriented and experienced in MEMS design.As an employee, you will:Develop new MEMS Gyroscope and Accelerometer IP from sensor architecture to product releasePerform FEA modeling including MEMS and Package using FEA softwares and other toolsPerform system level design and modeling of MEMS and CMOS using Matlab and other toolsInterface with CMOS designers to define and optimize both MEMS and interface electronicsSupport test development by collaborating with test engineers and providing theoretical support for test routinesPerform bench level testing and debugging of new MEMS devicesSupport Chip level design, layout and verificationWrite invention disclosures leading to patents for new devicesSupport customer requestsSupport and train new employees in the MEMS design group and employees in other groupsCollaborate with teams in USA, Taiwan, Italy and other countriesPerform other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to timePhD or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Physics3-5 years of MEMS motion sensor industry experienceExperience designing MEMS gyroscope, accelerometer, resonator, or similar electrostatic MEMS deviceStrong desire to learn new things and collaborate with other individualsEffective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.Proven track record of problem solvingAbility to drive projects to completion and propose workflow improvementsThorough understanding of electrostatic actuators and capacitive sensingExperience with finite element modeling (ex. ANSYS) of MEMS sensorAbility to layout MEMS devices using L-Edit or similar toolsAbility to debug and characterize MEMS using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.Theoretical understanding of multi-DOF mechanical modeling and simulationPerform other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to timeDesired Requirements:Ability to analyze data with Python or similar languageFamiliarity with electronics and integrated circuitsFamiliarity with MEMS fabricationExperience with package modeling for MEMS sensor#J-*****-Ljbffr
