Advanced Analytics Project Leader

The Group Advanced analytics and Automation Solutions Unit is in charge of driving the identification and execution of key Advanced Analytics projects at Group level, related both to AI-driven automation and AI recommendations/predictions, and support local BUs, where needed, to implement local projects; the unit is also responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving the library of central shared analytics / automation services available for the BUs through a central platform.Advanced Analytics Project Leader, in charge of identifying, designing, developing and managing, in collaboration with the various business structures, artificial intelligence solutions that data analytics aim to provide recommendations / predictions to be used by different stakeholders, such as anti-fraud models or price elasticity models.Main tasks and responsibilities:You will drive the project set-up, the analysis of the as-is process / situation, the creation of a business case, the design of the target solution and its continuous improvement based on the results obtained during the testing phaseYou will be responsible for the implementation of the end-to-end initiatives, including priorities definition, budget management, management of internal and external service providers and business interfaces and ensuring buy-in and executionIn particular, you will coordinate the development of the solution both from a logical point of view, you will lead the Data Scientists in the technical execution of all the analytical components - including Machine Learning models - and you will ensure their deployment with the support of Automation Engineers and IT ArchitectsYou will have the opportunity to have regular and frequent interactions with the business functions, who from time to time will be involved in the various projects, as well as with the managementRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:5+ years as Data Scientist in a consulting firm or in a company1-2 years experience in managing projects related to artificial intelligence, digital transformation or operational excellence;Degree in scientific disciplines (mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, physics)Experience in main Python Data Science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Numpy, XGBoost, Pytorch, LightGBM, Tensorflow)Experience in designing, developing and evaluating Statistical modeling or Machine Learning models (clustering, classification, regression, forecasting, ...)Excellent knowledge of the Office package, in particular ExcelGood knowledge of written and spoken English (B2)Excellent propensity to work in a team, operational autonomy, proactivity, high level of commitment and result / output orientationStrong ability to communicate effectively with the various organizational levelsNice to have:Strong problem-solving skills (analysis of complex problems and structuring of solutions)Excellent analytical and deductive skills, familiar with the design and evaluation of algorithmsBasic knowledge of IT architectureCreativity and determinationCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry – a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.Over almost 200 years, we have built a multinational Group that is present in more than 60 countries, with 470 companies and nearly 80,000 employees.GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies.Our purpose is to accelerate the Group\'s innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms.Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about ***** people.Contract Type: PermanentSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology, Analyst, and EngineeringIndustriesFinancial Services, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Business Consulting and Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
