Social network you want to login/join with:The Senior Technical Inspector is in charge on behalf of the shipping company to conducts inspections, surveys and examinations of container equipment either before or after repair to monitor depot performances and compliance with the inspection and repair criteria agreed by the shipping company with local depots .Responsibilities:Process on day-to-day basis authorization of repairs which are over allowed depot max amountsEnsures compliance with regulatory requirements as well as corporate policies and proceduresCompliance with safety and environmental regulationsMeets shipping company needs and commitmentsHaving regular depot audits around the world to control depot activityQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferredRelevant specific experience in container inspection and understanding of IICL inspection criteriaThorough understanding of the operation and maintenance of intermodal equipment, including but not limited to dry and reefer containers, mafi trailers and chassisHighly organizedExceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsExcellent communication skills are mandatoryProficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products (particularly Excel)Highly ethical behavior.PLACE OF WORKAntwerp and availability for frequent travel.#J-*****-Ljbffr
