Consultant presso Intermedia Selection srlTecnimont, MAIRE's flagship company for Integrated E&C solutions with a presence in multiple countries, is an established powerhouse in the realm of innovative engineering and construction services, crafting the infrastructure for tomorrow's world.Tecnimont is seeking aCivil & Structural Concrete Engineerto join our team in Catania.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing integrated solutions for complex plants designed to provide access to the latest technologies in our large-scale projects worldwide.If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in reducing the carbon footprint of industrial operations, we encourage you to apply.With a rich heritage of technological innovation and a forward-thinking approach, we lead the energy transition through engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology and strong and dynamic execution capability.The Recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of Tecnimont.TheCivil & Structural Concrete Engineeris generally assigned to a project and he/she is in charge of producing documents and deliverables assigned by the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline.He/She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man-hours assignment and quality of the deliverables.ResponsibilitiesTo guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions;To cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists to the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers;To manage and issue design calculations reports and specifications, to check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader;To integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader;To check and approve Vendor's document (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents );To guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader;To conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques;To keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline;QualificationsMinimum Bachelor, plus Master's degree in Civil engineering is preferredFrom 4 to 8 years of experience in concrete design/coordination, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power or in a technical design officeGood knowledge of European and international codes and standardsGood knowledge in AutoCad 2D drawings for modifying documentsUser friendly in Autodesk NavisworksKnowledge of collaborative environment such as BIM360Fluent English speaker and writer is a mustAvailability to travel for short and long period (max 3 months)Plus:Knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural Design Software, such as SAP****, STAADKnowledge of Autodesk RevitExperience in Precast and/or Pre-Stressed concrete structuresBasic knowledge of Project Management is a plus (e.g. Progress S-Curve)International backgroundSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesOil and Gas, Design Services, and Oil, Gas, and MiningLocation: San Giovanni la Punta, Sicily, Italy (3 weeks ago)#J-*****-Ljbffr
