LocationBreganze, ITWorkplace TypeHybrid/RemoteOverviewDo you want to help solve the world's most pressing challenges?Feeding the world's growing population and slowing climate change are two of the world's greatest challenges.AGCO is a part of the solutionJoin us to make your contribution.Responsibilities and ImpactAs a Design Engineer, you will focus on the development of combines in the crop processing area.Working alongside the international team, you will be responsible for designing and developing moderately complex structures and sheet metal components, ensuring they meet stringent performance, durability, quality, and serviceability standards.Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to optimizing designs for production while ensuring alignment with the broader project goals.3-D and 2-D designing and development of parts, assemblies and mechanisms using a variety of materials and fabrication technologies.Creation of detailed production-quality fabrication drawings, design documentation, and assembly drawings for new and existing parts and ultimately manage engineering changes ECR-ECN (EPDM or similar tools preferred).Participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.).Collaborate on project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.Contribute to product validation and testing activities.Experience and QualificationsDiploma Perito, Bachelor's, or master's degree in mechanical engineering.3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.Background in agricultural machinery and equipment is required.Proficient in 3-D and 2-D modeling (ProE preferred) and MS Office tools.Skilled in drawing layouts and GD&T methodology.Extensive experience in designing and developing sheet metal, castings, fabricated steel structures and mechanisms including welded and bolted assemblies.Knowledge of material properties, manufacturing techniques (Design for Manufacturing), failure and Root Cause analysis, inspection techniques, coatings, and fasteners.Ability to justify design decisions with calculations, analysis and written documentation.Understanding of crop flow mechanics, finite element analysis, DEM, CFD tools, and linkages.Proficiency in designing and specifying sheaves, belts, and bearings.Strong and pragmatic problem-solving skills with a positive and collaborative attitude.Fluent in English (spoken and written) Italian mother tongue.Willingness to participate in field test activities, investigate concerns, identify resolutions, and report results, primarily within European countries.Availability for occasional international travel to Europe, the United States, and Brazil.Note: Please submit your application/CV in English.Compensation and BenefitsAttractive, fair remuneration including participation in our bonus scheme.Balance of work, family and free time due to flexible working time.Private health insurance with partial coverage of medical expenses.Canteen with meal allowance.Your WorkplaceAfter completing the initial onboarding period, you will become eligible for a hybrid working model consisting of 3 days onsite at our Breganze location and 2 days of remote work per week.InclusionWe value inclusion and recognize the innovation a diverse workforce delivers to our farmers.Through our recruitment efforts, we are committed to building a team that includes a variety of experiences, backgrounds, cultures and perspectives.Get StartedJoin us as we bring agriculture into the future and apply nowJob SegmentDesign Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Agricultural, Fabrication, Engineering, Agriculture, ManufacturingAGCO is a global leader in design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision technology.AGCO delivers value to farmers and OEM customers through its differentiated brand portfolio including leading brands like Fendt, Massey Ferguson, PTx and Valtra.AGCO's full line of equipment, smart farming solutions and services helps farmers sustainably feed our world.#J-*****-Ljbffr
