Equinix is the world's digital infrastructure company, operating over 260 data centers across the globe.Digital leaders harness Equinix's trusted platform to bring together and interconnect foundational infrastructure at software speed.Equinix enables organizations to access all the right places, partners, and possibilities to scale with agility, speed the launch of digital services, deliver world-class experiences, and multiply their value, while supporting their sustainability goals.A leadership role at Equinix means you will drive and collaborate on work that impacts the world.We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.Job Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Growth & Emerging Markets, the Managing Director for Italy will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Italian business.This role involves defining the strategic vision to develop the enterprise market, establishing a robust network of decision-makers among prospects, customers, and channel partners, and providing thought leadership to drive new business and growth while safeguarding strategic accounts in key markets.The Managing Director will cultivate strong relationships with government and regulatory bodies, as well as industry stakeholders, to uphold Equinix's reputation and influence relevant policy areas.Additionally, this role will implement power and energy strategies, leverage market insights, and serve as an executive sponsor for key customers.The Managing Director will promote a culture of inclusion and innovation, manage crisis situations, and advocate for the localised enablement of Equinix's operating system.Responsibilities Own the 5-year vision for the country/market, market opportunity, and competitive position.Lead development of a 1-3-year metro strategy plan for each metro, including objectives for retail verticals, networks, and hyperscale.Partner with Corporate Development, Commercial Finance, and Sales to develop, drive, and execute the market development plan and metro strategy.Drive retail growth and retail leadership in the market.Be the most senior business leader in Italy and represent the country on the regional GEM leadership team.Provide inspirational leadership to the Italian team to deliver strategic goals with high employee satisfaction and engagement.Identify, motivate, sponsor, develop, and highlight key talent.Ensure all employees understand the company's Purpose.Contribute local business expertise to shape strategic decisions.Participate in the development of Equinix's global and regional strategy by representing market-specific requirements.Achieve regional P&L targets (EMEA).Lead and manage through any crisis situations.J-*****-Ljbffr
