Job ID: ******* | Amazon.com Services LLCAt Amazon, we prioritize health, safety, and well-being above all else.To support this priority, Amazon is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to join our team.In this position, you will partner with the site level operations team for your designated site to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local and regional regulations.Leveraging lean principles and Kaizen events, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in Amazon's processes, thereby ensuring a safe and healthful working environment for our associates.As a Senior Manager, you must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with cross-functional operations teams, and influence change through comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.You will be an effective communicator, sending clear, concise and consistent messages verbally and in writing.You will instruct and train operations leadership and site WHS professionals in company EHS policies while assisting regional teams in incorporating our safety standards at their sites.Your experience working in safety programs and your relevant safety, environmental and ergonomic knowledge in an operations environment will be crucial.You will develop a team of safety managers and safety professionals at your designated site.Your team's success will depend on your ability to create and execute leadership development plans for your larger team.As a senior leader in the WHS organization, you will also assess safety talent and select appropriate bench strength for current and future business needs.ResponsibilitiesAct as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policyProvide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with all applicable Amazon Safety PoliciesMeasure site performance against published requirements in safety policies;
