This role in summaryLocated in Cassinetta (VA) and reporting to the Financial Site Manager, the Plant Controlling Specialist acts as the financial business partner of plant management, supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning, performance monitoring, and cost analysis.The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Quality) and interfaces with the central finance to ensure alignment with Company standards and business objectives.Your responsibilities will includeProviding accurate reporting on production costs and variances, preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast ensuring compliance with BU deadlines.Lead budgeting and forecasting annual processes at the plant level in coordination with central finance.Monitor plant costs, margins, and KPIs to support operational efficiency and decision-making.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.Act as a liaison between plants and central finance for reporting, audits, and planning cycles.Minimum requirementsMaster's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.At least 1-3 years of experience in Controlling department or accounting firm, preferably in manufacturing companiesFluent in Italian and English Languages (written/spoken)Excellent analytical and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially ExcelSAP ERP good knowledgeAbility to work proactively and autonomously, with a strong team working mindsetPower BI knowledge would be considered a plus.Additional informationOpportunity to act as a key contributor to plant strategic decisions with a tangible impact on performance.Challenge in balancing operational needs with financial discipline and corporate requirements.Supporting the digitalization and automation of financial reporting tools.The Plant Controlling Specialist ensures transparency and integrity of financial data, driving continuous improvement in processes and efficiency.We are an equal opportunity employer.All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, sex, colour, national or social origin, ethnicity, religion, age, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status or political opinion.For more information about us look at or follow us on LinkedIn.Looking for new opportunity?Review our career page here.
