Join to apply for the Project Technical Engineer (m/f/d) role at Hitachi Energy4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsThe opportunityHitachi Energy's Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service global product group is a world-leading provider of grid connections and power quality solutions that enable our customers to build a more sustainable, flexible and secure energy system.We leverage our long-standing technology leadership, vast integration expertise, huge installed base and global footprint to provide our customers with life-cycle value solutions at the lowest risk.Our customers are in the utility, renewables, industry, transportation, data centers and infrastructure sectors.Our business in Europe has more than 1,000 skilled professionals focused on critical areas of expertise and is present in 16 countries.At Grid & Power Quality Solutions in Europe (HBUEU), diversity drives our culture of innovation and collaboration.Our leading technology and strong market position enable us to achieve growth targets in the energy transition across current and growing market segments such as hydrogen, data centers and e-mobility.The Project Technical Engineering, joining in our Engineering Department, will embody these values by promoting collaboration across cross-functional teams demonstrating integrity and accountability in project execution, and driving innovation in the design and delivery of substations and power systems.The role is focused on Primary (electromechanical design) Discipline.At Grid & Power Quality Solutions in Europe (HBUEU), the Engineering Competency Model provides a structured framework to support the professional growth of engineers.Depending on your background, we will provide training and support to help you grow and develop into this role.We leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) as an integrated digital process to enhance engineering workflows and project execution.By adopting BIM, the organization increases its value proposition to customers through improved collaboration, data accuracy, and efficiency across the entire project lifecycle.This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about leading with purpose and contributing to transformative solutions in the energy sector.How You'll Make An ImpactLead and coordinate the primary (electromechanical) scope to ensure the integrity and correct function of the substation system, including conceptual design support and equipment implementation.Leading and coordinating teams across all engineering disciplines (both inhouse and outsourced) for conventional projects with moderately complex features, when required by the situation.Leading single or multidiscipline engineering teamsPrepare and review technical specifications and validate equipment.Ensure 3D design/models, coordinating and resolving interferences between civil and electromechanical disciplines.Ensure compliance with CEI/IEC/EN standards, Italian grid codes, and Hitachi Energy QHSE requirements;
