Overview

As a Global Commissioning Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) - Jenbacher Gas Engines , you will be dispatched worldwide to support our Jenbacher gas engine installations.

Your responsibilities

include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, scheduled maintenance, and other service activities. This role requires *****% international travel and a solid technical understanding of electrical grid systems, VDE measurements, PLC systems, P&I schemes, synchron-generators, and PID-controllers . Competitive salary Additional benefits: meal allowance, daily travel allowance Company phone and laptop Service vehicle provided Support for certifications & professional growth Responsibilities Commissioning, repair, and maintenance of Jenbacher gas and biogas engines in Italy and abroad Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, PID-controllers, and grid-related interfaces Performing and interpreting VDE measurements Providing technical support to partners and customers Reviewing and utilizing P&I schemes during on-site activities On-site supervision of subcontractor work Documentation of all completed service activities Requirements Secondary school / vocational qualification (e.g. automotive mechanic, auto electrician, agricultural machinery mechanic, or mechanical fitter) Experience with gas engines, or strong willingness to quickly acquire the required knowledge Technical understanding in at least some of the following areas: - electrical grid systems - VDE measurement - PLC systems - P&I schemes - synchron-generators - PID-controllers Proficiency in English and Italian Ability to work independently Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally Valid category B driving licence Familiarity with Microsoft Office, plus willingness to learn and develop further if required Advantages Knowledge of gas engine maintenance Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics Electrical qualification J-*****-Ljbffr
