OverviewJoin to apply for theSenior Sales Process & Performance Trainerrole atXylem.Xylem is a Fortune 500 global water solutions company dedicated to advancing sustainable impact and empowering the people who make water work every day.As a leading water technology company with 23,000 employees operating in over 150 countries, Xylem addresses the world's critical water challenges.We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.RoleTheSales Process & Performance Traineris responsible for coordinating, organizing, and facilitating training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of the sales organization.The trainer will focus on the successful execution of sales training programs aligned to business priorities, organizational needs, and sales strategies.The role requires strong facilitation skills, knowledge of market dynamics, and an understanding of effective sales behaviors.Language proficiency and the ability to support a geographically and culturally diverse sales audience are essential.ResponsibilitiesTraining Planning: Collaborate with Sales Excellence and segment leadership to plan and execute sales training programs addressing role-specific skills, sales processes, and tools/systems.Content Customization & Structuring: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and the SX Learning & Development team to gather, localize, and organize sales-specific content reflecting real-world selling scenarios and regional needs.Facilitation: Deliver high-impact, interactive sales training workshops (in-person and virtual) covering foundational sales methodologies/processes, soft skills, consultative selling, product positioning, sales/territory planning, and Channel Management.Virtual Learning Execution: Lead and support live virtual instructor-led sessions via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, ensuring a professional and engaging learner experience.Learning Reinforcement: Support post-training reinforcement through job aids, follow-ups, and communication campaigns.Program Management & SupportSession Logistics: Coordinate training schedules, invites, calendar updates, and material distribution across geographies and time zones.Vendor Coordination & Alignment: When applicable, leverage training vendors to provide specialized training or address local language needs.Participant Experience: Act as a point of contact before, during, and after training, ensuring a smooth experience and timely support.Feedback Collection: Administer and analyze post-training surveys to assess satisfaction and learning impact; identify opportunities to improve content and delivery.Reporting: Track key learning metrics such as attendance, engagement, knowledge application, and sales performance; contribute to dashboards for program owners and sales leaders to articulate training ROI.Market Awareness & Language ProficiencyMarket Familiarity: Maintain knowledge of the company's products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to keep training content relevant.Cultural & Linguistic Competence: Deliver training and communicate effectively with regional sales teams.Language proficiency in English and Italian is required; fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French) is highly valued.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Education, or related fieldAt least 5/7 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational companyExperience facilitating training sessions in live and virtual formatsFamiliarity with the sales cycle, sales methodologies, industry trends, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce & Dynamics)Exposure to regional or global sales teams and ability to tailor content/delivery to audience needsExperience working with cross-functional teams to execute training aligned with strategic initiativesLanguage proficiency in English and Italian; fluency in French or other languages is preferredStrong presentation and facilitation skills for engaging, outcome-driven learning sessionsKnowledge of adult learning principles and training delivery best practicesExcellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detailStrong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skillsAdditional InformationJoin the global Xylem team to contribute to innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and reuse.Our products support public utilities, industrial sectors, residential areas, and commercial buildings, with a commitment to smart metering, network technologies, and advanced analytics for water, electric, and gas utilities.Seniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and TrainingIndustries: Industrial Machinery Manufacturing and Machinery Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
