electrical, instrumentation, civil construction, and material management operations are executed in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, and Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.This role | Civil | MaterialKey ResponsibilitiesExecute specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities per Quality Control PlansIssue Quality Records and non-conformance reports as requiredVerify conformity with specifications and ensure proper material traceabilityCheck materials are correctly received, stored, preserved, handled, identified and traceablePerform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and functional checksWitness tests and inspections, verify results are in accordance with codes and standardsVerify testing and measuring equipment are calibrated and suitable for useCheck availability of procedures, qualifications, and certificationsCollect and manage documentation ensuring records are retrievable in final As-Built dossierFor subcontractor activities: ensure correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans and witness inspectionsTechnical Specialization AreasElectricalCheck cable laying and cable identificationInspect installation of electrical equipment (transformers, switchboards, batteries, lighting systems, sockets)Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, rating checks, assembly and processes and workers' qualifications (e.g., MV Cable hi-pot test)Ensure master testing equipment is calibrated per international codes and standardsInstrumentationCheck cable laying and cable identification per project standardsVerify loop check documentation requirements (drawings, data sheets, calibration certificates)Ensure RED Line mark-ups are updated on As-Built drawingsPerform visual inspections, dimensional tests, check ratings, materials and terminationsWitness/perform continuity and insulation resistance testsVerify calibration of instruments against data sheets (field instruments, safety valves)Calibrate instruments and verify field instrument installationsWitness functional tests and fiber optic cable installation/testingCheck pneumatic signal connections per AFC drawingsCivilCheck preparation of foundations and correct preparation of reinforcementsVerify certifications (element mixes, ASTM tests, chemical analysis, grain size analysis)Monitor atmospheric conditions during pouring operationsMonitor correct curing operations and check sampling operationsReview laboratory examination resultsCheck sub-grade dry density, moisture content, compression strength testsCheck after execution of casting and concrete pouringCheck materials quality (wire, fittings, etc.)Verify special processes and workers' qualificationsMaterialVerify supply compliance Reports when requiredManage material certification documentationQualificationsEducationTechnical diploma or vocational qualification in relevant disciplineAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferredExperience3-10 years in Quality Control inspection activitiesHands-on experience in at least one specialization areaOil & gas, construction, or industrial facility project experienceSite-based inspection experience requiredCertifications (based on specialization)Electrical: Electrical safety and testing certificationsInstrumentation: Instrument calibration certifications, automation system knowledgeCivil: Concrete testing certifications (ACI, ASTM), structural inspection credentialsMaterial: Material inspection and certification
