Overview Widen Your Horizons.Join the Next Chapter of Your CareerAt EssilorLuxottica, we are committed to empowering our people to grow and succeed.This is your opportunity to take your career to the next level, embrace new challenges, and continue making a difference.We work for a brighter future, thinking today about the world of tomorrow.Don't miss the chance to shape your #FutureInSight with usYour role The Manufacturing Engineering Logistics Flow Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process.Their duties include but are not limited to researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.As Manufacturing Engineering Logistics Flow Engineer you will use your knowledge of science and math to construct the most streamlined, efficient method of components and parts distribution possible.You will handle inventory, process orders, plan warehouse and material flow layouts and help define and design material flow, infrastructure to maximize transportation and indirect cost efficiency.Main responsibilities Ensure that the Company's manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulationsAnalyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and then provide business leaders with reports containing the data and statistics to enable them to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.Process measurement (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation)Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision makingAnalyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiencyProject trackingBenchmarkingProcess standardization and optimizationMain requirements You have a Degree in EngineeringYou have at least 2 years of experience in complex environments with similar roles, such as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement EngineerYou have knowledge on Lean and Six SigmaYou are able to establish and maintain excellent relationshipsYou are capable of working under pressure, of working on several tasks simultaneously, and of delivering tasks on timeYou are oriented to digitalization and information technologiesYou are a flexible person, able to adapt in a context of constant changeOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitment We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.We celebrate diversity and provide equal opportunities to all, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that makes us unique.Job Segment: Lean Six Sigma, Six Sigma, Management#J-*****-Ljbffr
