MEOGROUP Belgium is an operational excellence consulting group specializing primarily in Industrial Project Management, Procurement & Supply Chain.We support major industrial players in the execution of large-scale engineering projects.We are looking now for an experienced Lead Mechanical engineer for a 1 year project in BELGIUM for a strategic industrial project in the steel industry.This role can be filled with a freelance position.Profile:At least 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in Steelmaking plantsAbility to operate as an expert leader in the steelmaking industryStrong background in CAPEX brownfield projects and maintenanceExperience at OEM Supplier in steelmaking projectsLanguages : fluent in English / French can be a strong assetPractical information:To start ASAP up to 3 monthsDuration : Minimum 1 yearContract: FreelanceLocation : BelgiumYour responsibilities will include:Development of customers technical features for mechanical disciplinesFollow up technical deliverables and mechanical equipment listsMonitoring suppliers' engineering deliverables and progressActing as an expert reference for steelmaking equipment with hierarchy and clientsSupervising operations and maintenance teams, to foster safety and reliability
