About the Opportunity Our client, a leading international specialist in industrial components, is seeking an ambitiousBusiness Development Managerto drive strategic growth across Italy.This is a high-impact role for a commercial leader who thrives on building relationships, opening new markets, and delivering sustainable profitability across multiple territories.What You'll DoDrive Growth & Market ExpansionDevelop and execute regional growth strategies to increase revenue and market shareIdentify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across Italian and European marketsBuild and convert a robust pipeline of high-value prospectsOwn Customer RelationshipsCultivate long-term partnerships with key accounts and decision-makersConduct quarterly business reviews to uncover growth opportunitiesAct as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that drive customer successDeliver Commercial ExcellenceLead contract negotiations and manage pricing strategies to optimise marginsCross-sell product portfolio and communicate the value proposition effectivelyCollaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless deliveryProvide Market IntelligenceAnalyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategyFeed customer insights into product development and innovation initiativesWhat You BringEssential:5+ yearsin business development or sales within fasteners, manufacturing, or engineering sectorsSales experience selling into the Medical or SMART Infrastructure marketsProven track record of exceeding targets and closing complex B2B dealsStrong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skillsStrategic mindset with the ability to analyse data and develop market-specific approachesProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (D365 experience advantageous)Full clean driving license and willingness to travel extensively across EuropeFluent English(written and spoken)Highly Desirable:Additional European language(s)Cross-border commercial experience and cultural adaptabilityTechnical understanding of fasteners or industrial componentsMBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or EngineeringWhy This Role??Strategic Impact– Shape growth across multiple European markets?Autonomy– Operate independently with senior-level collaboration?Industry Leader– Join a globally recognised specialist with a strong value proposition?Career Development– Work alongside senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors and Engineering Innovation teams
