Job ID: ******* | Souq.com for E-Commerce LLC - G32At Amazon, we are committed to ensuring our partners provide a safe and healthy workplace and work with them to deliver continuous improvements and effective accident prevention programs.As our 3rd party operations continue to evolve in a demanding work environment, we are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Officer to support our partners in managing health and safety risks and employee wellbeing.The ideal candidate will put safety standards into practice, lead projects to raise safety awareness, and support management's efforts to ensure compliance with all program expectations and applicable regulations.With your proactive approach, you will help drive a safety culture by conducting regular audits, managing safety metrics, and providing guidance on safety-related processes across our 3rd party operations.You will play a crucial advisory role for managers, helping investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular site visits to evaluate safety conditions and provide recommendations for operational improvements.Carry out risk assessments and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and local safety procedures.Monitor and analyze safety metrics, create reports, and review incident trends to identify areas requiring attention.Support implementation of new safety measures and provide guidance on safety-related processes.Ensure compliance with all applicable Amazon supply chain policies and local/regional regulations.Lead safety discussions and participate in safety briefings.Support incident investigations and ensure timely incident communication.Analyze safety performance data to implement proactive improvement actions.Support safety training completion and verify training effectiveness.Basic QualificationsNEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification.Experience in data analysis and metrics reporting.Strong communication skills in local language.Ability to travel frequently for site visits.Preferred QualificationsExperience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.Background in operations, safety or quality management.Experience working both independently and within a team.Strong ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders through presentations and written communications.Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or Engineering/Science bachelor degree.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
