Join to apply for theDevOps Engineerrole atNTT DATA Europe & LatamNote: this position is full-time and based in the Romania Excellence Centre, Bucharest.2 days ago – among the first 25 applicants.Who We AreBased in the Romania Excellence Centre, Bucharest, our client is seeking experienced professionals who value teamwork, pioneering technology, and innovation.People who want to take their careers to the next level of success.You should be experienced to work in a dynamic environment, developing new applications and learning migration into Google Cloud.Our Know Your Client application enables advisors to collect information about new potential customers, calculates their risk and decides in a workflow to accept or reject the customer as a client.Additionally, all clients are reviewed on a periodic schedule.The solution uses REACT as front end, Java/Spring Boot as backend and an Oracle Exa-Database for storage.The instance is hosted on-prem on application servers.A migration of the hosting to Google Cloud and a rollout of new instances in new locations is in progress.What You'll Be DoingMember of the Application TeamPerform configuration management, build, and deployment activities in different environment set-ups.Support the Release Manager in preparing release notes, deployment instructions and run books for production deployments.Provide support for technical infrastructure components (middleware, databases, operating systems).Involved in the whole SDLC flow.Contribute to problem and root cause analysis.Contribute to continuous improvement of build, deploy and release processes.Create knowledge base articles.Create and renew keys (SSH, PGP) and certificates used in the project.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.At least 4-7 years of relevant work experience in IT.Experience in a support, application administration or technical specialist role.Experience supporting development teams in an agile, waterfall or hybrid environment.Good knowledge of application servers such as WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle).Good knowledge of Linux (RHEL, etc.).Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.).Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).Good knowledge of a build tool (Maven, Ant, etc.).Good knowledge of a version control system (Git, SVN, etc.).Experience with scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, etc.).Experience with containerization and container operations (Docker).Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting J2EE applications.Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Experience using Atlassian dev and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).Seniority LevelAssociateEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-*****-Ljbffr
