PASTRY CHEF San Clemente Palace Venice –It features a collection of beautifully restored monastic structures, a 12th-century chapel, and nearly 6 hectares of ancient gardens offering breathtaking views of the city, along with 196 meticulously furnished rooms and suites – including the largest and most exclusive suite in Venice.Annual art installations rotate throughout the property in conjunction with the Venice Biennale.Inside, the hotel seamlessly blends contemporary style with Renaissance influences, boasting six-meter-high ceilings, wide corridors, grand staircases, and intricate details such as terrazzo floors, silk-covered walls, and Murano glass chandeliers, making it one of Europe's premier hotels for art exhibitions.The hotel's exceptional culinary offerings reflect the richness of Italian cuisine, complemented by refined gourmet experiences served across multiple signature dining venues.As Pastry Chef, you will lead the pastry kitchen and oversee the creation of exquisite desserts, pastries, breads, and specialty items for all dining outlets and events.You will ensure the highest culinary standards, inspire creativity, and maintain the luxury quality that defines the resort's gastronomic identity.Leading the pastry team and overseeing daily pastry operations across all outletsCreating refined desserts, pastries, and bakery items aligned with the hotel's luxury standardsManaging production for breakfast, restaurants, banquets, room service, and special eventsTraining, mentoring, and supervising pastry team membersOverseeing stock control, ordering, and maintaining supplier relationshipsImplementing rigorous hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures (HACCP)Monitoring cost control, waste management, and production efficiencyEnsuring a creative, professional, and motivating work environmentPrevious experience as Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Sous Chef in luxury hospitality or fine diningDeep understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and food safetyAbility to work efficiently during peak production timesFluent in English and Italian (additional languages are a plus)A leading culinary role within one of Europe's most prestigious luxury hotelsCompetitive compensation and benefits packageProfessional development and culinary training opportunities•
