Position OverviewReports to: R&D Team LeadWe are looking for an R&D HW Engineer to join the Research and Development - Special Circuit Breaker Team based in Dalmine (IT), developing and integrating embedded electronics for advanced Medium Voltage circuits in our Electrification business.Work model: HybridThis role contributes to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Business Area in Dalmine.Key ResponsibilitiesRealizing the HW design of architecture and technical details, simulating circuits, and developing electronic projects which require mainly knowledge of analog, power supply, and power electronics.Taking care of the design optimization by identifying technical, architectural, and circuitry solutions, and exploiting the highest integration with the rest of the product (mechanical part, control, and sensors).Running the prototype development, implementing the executive drawings, the entire project documentation (from pre-feasibility studies to detailed design documents), carrying out preliminary tests for design pre-validation, analyzing the quality and reliability of the product, debugging prototypes, and collaborating in the integration with control FW.Drawing up the technical documentation required for production of the electronic product and carrying out activities to support and maintain the products when requested.Working closely with other functions and suppliers, and coordinating external partners for hardware-related services when necessary.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Electronic EngineeringUp to 5 years of experience in embedded hardware design for industrial applicationsSkilled in prototype debugging, power supply design, signal integrity, and analog signal conditioningExperience in EMI design and troubleshooting, and proficiency in lab instruments and board reworking, with strong teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable communicating in English and Italian, both written and spokenWhat's in it for youAs a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training.Our unique spirit is characterized by appreciation, communication at eye level and an informal work culture.We offer you customized training and development programs as well as exciting development opportunities within the company.Numerous other benefits (Parental Leave Program, Employee Assistance Program and many more) round off our offer.Contribute to a collective vision.This is where progress takes flight, teams turn ideas into impact, and we define what's next.Run What Runs the World.We value people from different backgrounds.Could this be your story?Apply today or visit to read more about us and learn about the impact of our solutions across the globe.#J-*****-Ljbffr
