Quality procurement manager (SCQ) role at Thales Alenia Space , a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%).We deliver high-tech solutions for space and telecommunications, navigation, Earth Observation, environmental management, exploration, science and orbital infrastructures.Our customers include governments, space agencies, telecommunications operators and other institutions.Location: Torino or RomaResponsibilitiesEnsure the quality of space equipment and products purchased from external suppliers within specific projects.Apply ISO ****, ISO *****, EN ****, AQAP **** and ECSS requirements; manage normative and standard compliance.Conduct upstream activities: supplier selection, RFP phase, and qualification status review (EQSR).Participate in design, production, test and delivery reviews; monitor on-time delivery and quality delivery.Monitor suppliers during manufacturing, test and delivery phases.Manage the delivery review board (DRB), deviations, waivers, alerts, and prepare PA progress reports.Coordinate quality assurance disciplines across proposal, design, production and test phases.Technical SkillsKnowledge of EC directives (CE marking, WEEE, RoHS) and ECSS series Q.Experience with ISO standards, AQAP, ECSS and relevant space industry practices.Ability to negotiate and verify supplier conformity to customer quality requirements.Experience with qualification test campaigns and delta qualification activities.QualificationsMaster's degree or PhD in a scientific subject.Fluency in English and excellent Italian language skills.Strong teamwork attitude and problem-solving skills.Experience managing mandatory inspection points, major non-conformities, deviations, and quality assurance disciplines.Company OverviewThales Alenia Space employs approximately 8,900 people across 10 countries, with 17 sites in Europe and a plant in the US.We provide career development opportunities worldwide and pursue a sustainable life on Earth.Join us to help build a better future.#J-*****-Ljbffr
