Outstanding achievements in the engineering industry have something in common: They always result from superior performance, exceptional technology and a high degree of creativity.In that way, NUM has built up an outstanding reputation in the tool and machinery industry.We develop complex, customized CNC automation solutions that guarantee the machine manufacturers as well as users with a high degree of added value.NUM's successes are achieved essentially through the know-how and personal commitment of our employees.And we now offer you the opportunity to actively contribute to this success at the NUM office in Cuggiono we are seeking a:Software Embedded Developer (f/m/d)YOUR CHALLENGEWe are looking for a flexible, independent and highly motivated software embedded developer with mathematical and geometrical background.You will collaborate with an international team of senior software developers spread in three different countries: Switzerland, France and Italy.In this position, you functionally report to the Software Development manager.Your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:Develop, evolve and maintain software of CNC systems and/or motor servo-drivesDefine and develop project software architectures for CNC systems and/or motor servo-drivesDefine and develop geometrical, mathematic and control algorithmsValidate with "debugging" operations software coded projectsVerify and integrate new software code in coded projectsDefine project specifications, development plans, methodologies in the software realisationDocument and report the activities done YOUR BACKGROUNDUniversity degree in Engineering, Information technology, Mathematics or PhysicsKnowledge of the programming languages such as C, C++Experience in motor servo-drives and/or CNC software would be a plusExcellent knowledge of English languageAbility to collaborate with senior engineersCapability to self-organise the daily job YOUR PERSONALITYTeam player with good communication skillsIndependent working attitudePragmatic and solution-oriented working methodology WE OFFERAn international, dynamic, growing company with the whole value chain from R& D to sales and manufacturingPleasant working atmosphere with flexible working hours
