Safety Assurance ManagerDate: 5 Sept ****Location: Bologna, BO, ITCompany: AlstomAt Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people.From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry.Every day, more than ****** colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Your Role:As a Safety Assurance Manager you will manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects.In particular,manage, perform and ensure the safety acticities related to the ETCS trackside or IXL group within the RC Mainline Wayside team.Location: This position is open both in Bologna, Rome and BariCoordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the Projects of his/her perimeter as per Safety process defined in Signaling Safety InstructionPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspectiveDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planningBuild the Safety Reports and the Safety CasesApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the ProjectAttend to periodic Safety ReviewsDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessorsCoordinate Safety Assurance Engineers involved on ETCS and/or IXL projectsSupport the review of eventual safety issues and theirroot cause identification and mitigation measuresQualifications:Engineering degree (preferably Electronic Enginnering) or similarItalian and English operational in speaking/reading/writing for technical documentationKnowledge concerning the Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology & concepts/principlesStrongexperience in RAMS / Functional Safety Assurance is an assetMastering full engineering cycle (from specification to validation tasks) and related interactionsExperience in evaluating and monitoring the workload and the schedule of safety activies on multiple complex projectsBehavioural Competencies;Structured and organized; Proactive behaviour; Sense of anticipation and urgencyAbility to execute and coordinate analyses, design reviews and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards & procedures in accordance with projectBe a detail-oriented individual, thoughtful and deliberate in your approach to conducting research and analysesPossess a strong work ethic and be task focused.Must be willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done within the allotted timeframe while maintaining the highest levels of quality in the projects producedResilient (to pressure, to last minutes deliveries, to manage urgently safety issues)You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud.If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from youImportant to noteAs a global business, we're an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in.We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.#J-*****-Ljbffr
