OverviewSoftware Automation EngineerNumero lavoro CGS***** Nazione Italia Sede : COMAS Città SileaAbout the CompanyCOMAS, headquartered in Silea, Italy, is the world leading supplier of primary equipment and processing solutions for both Conventional Tobacco and New Generation Products (NGP), as well as an emerging player in cosmetics, energy storage and food industries.COMAS' vision is to provide customers with the best primary solutions, first class equipment and on time project delivery, whilst maintaining a flexible approach.COMAS is part of Coesia, a group of innovation-based industrial and packaging solutions companies operating globally, headquartered in Bologna, Italy.Coesia has 141 operating units in 36 countries, a turnover of about billion euros and over 8,000 employees.About the RoleIdeal profile will be a Software / Electronic or Automation engineer who will join Comas to design, develop and commission control software for the machines or full lines that our company produces.Main ResponsibilitiesBased on client's URS, perform functional analysis for proposed machines or lines, interfacing also with mechanical designersFDS and technical (software design) documents creationThe candidate will be fully integrated into the team that develops automation solution.This activity is handled in some cases with direct engagement on the programming activities (PLC, SCADA, etc.) or by supervision of other resourcesEnsure software compliance with all the requirements / standards of the CustomerFor specific or critical equipment, candidate could be also involved for software commissioning activities at Customer's siteQualificationsSoftware / Electronic / Automation / Mechatronic Engineering studies or equivalent experienceGood knowledge of at least one of the most common automation development tools (Siemens TIA Portal ***** / Siemens Step 7, Rockwell RSLogix **** V*****) and common fieldbuses (Profinet, Ethernet / IP, EtherCAT, etc.)Experience of at least 2 / 3 years in the same or similar roleBasic knowledge of SCADA platforms Archestra System Platform, WinCC, Ignition)Available for business trips for plants commissioning at Customers' sitesGood knowledge of the English LanguageAble to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlinesFlexible, proactive approach to achieve team goals in a dynamic team environmentNice to haveKnowledge of concepts and typical interfacing protocols OPC UA, MQTT, etc.)Knowledge of Visual Studio C#, Python or other high level languageKnowledge of typical databases MS SQL, InFlux, etc.)Knowledge industrial process controls and industrial machinery for non-discrete, batch-oriented processes.(Food, Conditioning, Drying, Chemical applications or similar)#J-*****-Ljbffr
