OverviewIT Engineering Manager for Logistics (all genders) BESTSECRET Group•Turbigo, Lombardy, ITALYBESTSECRET is the leading European online destination for premium and luxury off-price fashion.The Group offers its members in 27 countries across Europe a superior brand portfolio complemented by a high-end shopping experience.BESTSECRET enables its brand partners to clear overstock at scale with minimum visibility and maximum brand equity protection.The unique business model is based on its closed character with an invitation-only customer membership, longstanding brand partner and customer relationships, combined with a tech-focused mindset.BESTSECRET has a strong track record of profitable growth over many years.It generated preliminary revenues of approx.EUR 1,415 million in **** and employs around 2,300 people from over 90 nations.The Group draws on a heritage of 100 years in the textile and fashion industry and today is owned by Permira Funds and the founding families Schustermann and Borenstein.We are looking for a skilled IT Engineering Manager for Logistics (all genders) with solid experience in leading engineering teams and delivering impactful logistics technology solutions.As part of our Tech Logistics department, you will play a key role in developing software systems that support the entire logistics lifecycle.Our mission is to build efficient, scalable, and user-friendly fulfillment processes for all stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Align technical initiatives with business goals and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.Own and optimize engineering workflows to support continuous improvement and innovation.Mentor and support the growth of engineers and junior leaders.Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver scalable logistics solutions.Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation across the organization.Ensure the operational excellence of our warehouse software, including smooth releases and stable operations.QualificationsMinimum 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and system design, with a strong command of technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Kafka, SQL, Angular, GitLab, NHibernate, and Entity Framework.At least 3 years of proven leadership experience in engineering teams, ideally within tech-driven organizations, combining strategic oversight with deep technical expertise.Demonstrated ability to define technical vision, manage cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines, and deliver complex solutions at scale.Experience in IT operations, with a solid understanding of scalable web architectures and agile methodologies.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a plus.Industry experience in logistics or warehouse management systems is highly desirable.Empathetic leadership style, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.Equal OpportunityAt BESTSECRET, diversity isnt just a trend – its our professional philosophy.We are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive workplace where everyones unique talents and backgrounds are celebrated.Applicants from all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives are welcome to join us in our mission towards a more vibrant and inclusive future.#J-*****-Ljbffr
