Since its inception in****, Otoqi has established itself as a leading start-up in the automotive logistics sector, moving away from the old fashioned truck & trailer word, to a nimble and platform based driver-on-demand model.Our strength lies in combining cutting-edge technology with operational excellence.Each year, our 2,000 drivers move over 500,000 vehicles across Europe in under 48h.Our platform helps car rental companies, car dealers and car manufacturers overcome their logistical challenges.We set the industry standard for vehicle transportation in Europe, offering higher reliability and faster service through our disruptive model and continuous innovation.With €10M raised in our Series B funding round in ****, and a footprint in France, Italy, and Germany, we are targeting new countries for our international growth in the coming years.Job DescriptionTo accelerate its market penetration in Italy, Otoqi is looking for a Sales Manager who will be the mind and soul of a local sales team of 5 full-time employees.The Sales Manager will play a key role in managing the team and directly contributing to the sales strategy and execution.Main ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Market DevelopmentDefine and execute the sales strategy for the Italian market, aligned with HQ objectives.Identify high-potential market segments, key accounts, and growth opportunities.Build a strong client portfolio and develop long-term, strategic business relationships.Sales & Account Management Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and supervise a team of sales and account management professionals in Italy.Set clear performance objectives, monitor KPIs, and provide continuous coaching.Design and deliver training modules to help the team grow, sharpen their sales skills, and achieve higher performance.Foster a high-performing, motivated, and collaborative team culture.Sales Execution & Business DevelopmentActively contribute to prospection, including outbound outreach to generate new opportunities.Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospection to negotiation and closing.Understand customer needs and position Otoqi's value proposition effectively to address them.Participate in strategic sales meetings with top clients and key accounts.Cross-Department CollaborationWork closely with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless commercial approach and high customer satisfaction.Expected OutcomesAchieve (and exceed) sales targets.Expansion of the client portfolio and development of strategic business relationships.Demonstrate strong closing skills, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.Continuous improvement of team performance through structured coaching and training.High customer satisfaction, with strengthened retention rates.Your ProfileStrong sales experience (6+ years, including at least 2 years in management) in a B2B environment, with a strong drive for prospecting and closing deals.Results-oriented: Strong capacity to meet and exceed sales targets while optimizing sales processes.Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor the team, with a strong team spirit and positive influence.Strategic mindset and adaptability: Ability to analyze the market and adjust sales strategies based on evolving needs.Languages skills: Mandatory spoken/written English and Italian proficiency (C1).Nice To HaveProficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot): comfortable with commercial management tools to monitor and optimize team and sales performance.Experience in the Automotive industry or 3PL Services.Experience in start-up/scale-up.Values at OtoqiInnovation: We are and feel innovators, helping revolutionize the automotive logistics sector by bringing innovative solutions to the challenges of the automotive industry.Customer Focus: We believe that fostering strong relationships and satisfaction of our customers is the cornerstone of our success, built on principles of trust and transparency.Team spirit: Team spirit and collaboration is a cornerstone of our DNA, participating and promoting team activities to foster this company asset.Determination: We are relentless and resolute, always willing to make the extra mile.We face challenges head-first, learn from mistakes and keep going.What Else We Offer
