Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices.With integrated solutions across four key domains – telecom networks, IT, smart devices, and cloud services – they are committed to bringing digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world.At Huawei, innovation focuses on customer needs.They invest heavily in basic research, concentrating on technological breakthroughs that drive the world forward.With approximately 208,000 employees, they operate in more than 170 countries and regions.Huawei's end-to-end portfolio of products, solutions and services are both competitive and secure.Through open collaboration with ecosystem partners, they create lasting value for our customers, working to empower people, enrich home life, and inspire innovation in organizations of all shapes and sizes.Job Title: Legal CounselJob Location: Rome ItalyMain Responsibilities:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of operational and commercial agreements (including distribution, sales, marketing, services and supply agreements in the ICT/Telco sector, including finance related agreements).Drafting official documents, policies, and awareness materials.Ensuring business legal compliance with external regulations and internal policies, with a focus on the implementation of competition law, trade secrets protection, anti-bribery, and the 231 legislative decree.Providing legal assessment opinions during daily operational activities within the company.Advising on IT/TMT regulatory frameworks and the commercial impact of legislative changes.Working closely with different company stakeholders.Learning and understanding complex and innovative businesses to provide proactive legal advice that ensures efficient and compliant business development.Providing legal support to other European platforms as needed.Requirements:Law DegreeBar qualification to practice as a lawyer is a plus.Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in-house or at a law firm, preferably in IT/TMT/Competition/Public Law & Regulatory/Compliance domains.Legal background in corporate law, compliance (231 model, anti-bribery, GDPR, trade secrets protection), business law, civil law and contract review.Experience in litigation, tender contracts in both private and public environments, competition law, administrative and public contract law, labour law is a plus.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills together with strong commercial acumen.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, engagement, flexibility.Ability to work and manage issues and business projects independently.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionLegal#J-*****-Ljbffr
